What is the purpose of the Christian church?

What does it mean to be a Christian?

Our primary goal is to introduce Jesus Christ, as He is presented in the Bible, to the world.

The Bible says that, when Jesus walked this earth, He was God who had taken on a human form and lived among his creation. After growing up and living an entirely sinless life, Jesus allowed himself to be crucified as an innocent substitution for the punishment we deserve. The Bible says that "the wages of sin is death," and Jesus died in our place so that we could live eternally.

Three days after He died, Jesus rose to life again and now intercedes with God on our behalf. The condition is: we have to believe on Him.

If you are willing to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. If you are willing to believe that He died in your place, and rose again to show that He has power to give you eternal life - then you can become a Christian.

Christians are those who follow the commands and teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in [John 11:25] "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"

This is the question of upmost importance. Do you believe that Jesus Christ is who He said He is?
